CLF Ranch, while a relative newcomer to the commercial meat goat industry, is aggressively committed providing only the highest quality goats to the market.  We sell to individual consumers as well as the usual bulk markets.  If caprine or chevon are staples in your diet, consider a visit to CLF.   We can help arrange for humane slaughter at a USDA approved facility.  We kid from late April through late May each year.

• Nestled in the beautiful flint hills of Kansas on 210 spring fed acres, CLF Ranch  has room to serve a tremendous number of Cute Lil Fellas!
   

• With considerable native forage acreage & specially seeded pastures we make room for hundreds of our critters!  We have planted and maintain a unique blend of the finest orchardgrasses for winter hay feed.   Our land is uniquely suited for goats to provide the best balance of nutrition for their healthy development and growth.  A wide range of browse is available. From brush & trees to native & tame grasses, CLF has it all!
   

• Rotational pasture management, daily monitoring and worming as needed provide maximum protection against parasites & other health problems.  Specially made high quality feed supplements are provided during breeding & kidding times.  Free choice minerals are provided daily.
   

• Fenced with specially designed, high tensile electric anti-predator fencing and other safeguards, animals at CLF are afforded total protection from all possible predators.  We recently had a rabbit who had the misfortune of discovering just how impenetrable our defenses are!  While it wasn't pretty, it was sure comforting to know how well protected our friends are.
   

• Fresh, deep well water & natural shelter from the elements on the worst of  days are available year round for all goats in our care.
   

• Animals in our herd find themselves at home in a peaceful environment with two veterinarians on call (one who is less than 15 minutes away).
   

• With two, on-site ranch managers and seasonal help as needed, the goats at CLF are treated like the valued  guests that they are.
   

• When you visit, in addition to spending some time with these fascinating animals, you can take a break to hike or even hunt^* on over 100 acres of pristine wooded & native prairie preserve that abounds with deer, geese, dove, quail, wild turkey and the occasional pheasant.  For the avid hunter, we are located less than 10 miles from the world renowned  Flint Oak Hunting Club.
